Primrose Hill Lecture Series: Lorraine Candy on 'Navigating Family Life'

9th June: Lorraine Candy on

'Navigating Family Life'.

Journalist, editor and mother of four, Lorraine Candy has been writing for more than a decade about parenting and the challenges of family life. She also co-hosts the chart-topping Postcards from Midlifepodcast and is about to publish Mum, What's Wrong With You? a frank, funny and inspiring guide which offers advice and reassurance on how best to deal with everyday difficulties and dramas on the home front.

And let's be honest, who hasn't felt over the past twelve months the desperate need for such advice - whether as a parent, a child, a teenager, a sibling, a relative or a spouse? Home-schooling? Bored, quarrelsome siblings? Demotivated teenagers? Adult children or students back in their former bedrooms for months on end? Harassed home workers? Territorial battles over workspace/wifi/laptop access?

Join us to hear witty and relatable stories from Lorraine's family life interspersed with practical, down to earth tips and new insights from leading experts in the field.

All lectures start at 7pm followed by a live Q&A. Approximate finish time is 8.30pm.

Proceeds are in aid of St Mary’s church - a vital base for outreach services to vulnerable local people, including the elderly, the homeless and young people at risk.

Primrose Hill books will be selling books at the venue after each talk and authors will be signing copies. For those watching online, there is a Summer Lectures book list on the bookshop's website.
