We offer this prayer written by Archbishop Thomas Cranmer in 1549 The Book of Common Prayer as you begin your spiritual journey and The Bible Challenge.
“Blessed Lord, who caused all holy Scriptures to be written for our learning: Grant us so to hear them, read, mark, learn, and inwardly digest them, that we may embrace and ever hold fast the blessed hope of everlasting life, which you have given us in our Savior Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.”

Lectionary Bible Challenge with Reflections for Daily Prayer
Readings can be found in the book Reflections for Daily Prayer (click here to find out how to buy the book or app) or the Lectionary for Advent 2016-2017. If you are able, the app is particularly good as it has a short order for daily prayer and includes all the readings right at your fingertips. If you need any help of further details please do not hesitate to ask one of the clergy team.
Weekly Stories from the Bible (Challenge)
This year we have a compilation of weekly stories that will be used by the Sunday school and are available to anyone looking to gain a greater sense of the stories that make up a year in the church calendar. You can access the PDF for the list by clicking here.
